Enter room dimensions and roll details to get the exact number of rolls to order, including pattern repeat waste.
Calculate the total wall area (perimeter × height), deduct doors and windows, then divide by the usable area per roll (strips per roll × strip width × wall height). Add waste for pattern repeats. This calculator does all of this automatically.
Standard European wallpaper rolls are 530 mm wide × 10 m long, giving approximately 5.3 m² per roll. UK rolls are typically 520 mm × 10.05 m. Commercial wallpapers often come in 1 m wide rolls.
Allow an extra 8% for small patterns (under 150 mm repeat), 15% for medium repeats (150–300 mm), and 25% for large repeats (over 300 mm). Always order one extra roll as a spare for future repairs.
